A sophomore level class with a rich sampling of the liberal arts, broadly understood to encompass humanities, fine arts, social sciences, and natural sciences. Students will explore a mix of cultural, educational events includes: concerts, dance performances, films, lectures, workshops with performing artists, and more.  Soundings is designed to support students cultural experiences, encouraging student success, improve personal and academic skills decrease drop-out rates, increase graduation rates and support and improve post-secondary transition. Supports school-to-school and school-to-work transitions and other career and life decisions including the recognition that the arts and culture are a means of renewal and recreation.
